Giorgia Marchet, XCO and marathon champion
The Torpado Kenda FSA welcomes Giorgia Marchet, born in 1998, a Belluno-born athlete with a remarkable track record.
Giorgia comes from cross country, with a victory in the XCO World Cup at Nové Město achieved in the Under-23 category, placing her among the few Italians at the top of the world rankings, along with two silver medals at the European Championships in XCC and relay.
In 2025, she demonstrated her versatility also in marathon events, winning the Roc d’Azur Classic and achieving victories at the Marathon Bike della Brianza and the Castro Legend. Her stage win at the Swiss Epic further confirmed her talent in the most demanding stage races.
Giorgia is an explosive and powerful athlete, with values that reflect those of the team: team spirit, ambition, and a constant drive to improve.
Her arrival strengthens the Torpado women’s project, opening exciting prospects where her qualities can make a real difference.
