The athletes of the Torpado team gave us a week of immense satisfaction, an incredible rollercoaster of emotions.

Right from the start, they kicked off the race with a bang: Gioele De Cosmo and Jakob Dorigoni, with remarkable maturity and commitment, dominated the first two stages, winning with a determination that surprised everyone. Their incredible performances laid the foundation for what would become an epic triumph. But the race isn’t just about individuals; it’s a true test of teamwork, where mutual support made all the difference.

After their extraordinary start, the baton passed to Fabian Rabensteiner and Casey South, two cornerstones of the Torpado team, ready to defend and extend the advantage gained. Their experience and excellent teamwork were crucial in maintaining their lead in such a competitive environment. And so it was. With a flawless race and perfect team strategy, Rabensteiner and South managed each stage exceptionally. Their final victory in the concluding weekend was the culmination of an entire week of sacrifices and heart. The satisfaction of crossing the finish line knowing they had given their all, overcoming every difficulty, was indescribable.

Rabensteiner and South claimed the top spot in the overall standings with a total time of 12 hours, 37 minutes, and 24 seconds, a time that demonstrated how well-prepared and determined they were.
Gioele De Cosmo and Jakob Dorigoni secured 5th place, with a total time of 12 hours, 37 minutes, and 26 seconds, just 4 minutes and 2 seconds behind the winning pair, a truly remarkable performance.

After securing third place in the first two stages, an unfortunate accident forced Irina to withdraw, eliminating their chance to compete for the overall standings. Despite this setback, Katazina’s return to competition, coupled with the team’s effort, paints a positive picture for the upcoming challenges.
