“I think I had an almost perfect race. I was focused from the first meter to the last, and my legs responded really well, too. We managed the race the right way, and when the race opened up, we were able to make a difference as a team. In the final stretch, I realized I could maintain the lead without taking any unnecessary risks. Winning my fourth Italian title means so much; it’s always an honor to wear this jersey, and I’m happy to bring it back to the team,” Fabian said after the race.
