Katazina Sosna
From Lithuania to the World Rankings.
An exceptionally talented Lithuanian cyclist, known for her versatility and success both on the road and in mountain biking.
Although his career began with great dedication to road cycling, the choice to devote himself to mountain biking proved successful: in his first year as he won the national championship of Cross Country (XCO) from Lithuania, and from then on numerous titles in both disciplines, XCO and XCM.
In 2021 he won the overall ranking of the UCI Mountain Bike Marathon Series, a prestigious achievement. In 2022, it continued to shine, winning important victories such as the MTB Sakarya Cup and the famous Roc d’Azur, one of the most prestigious events on the mountain bike calendar.
Katažina has established itself as an important reference figure for women’s cycling.
His commitment to promoting sport among young cyclists demonstrates his great professionalism and passion. Her dedication goes beyond mountain biking and her ability to inspire others makes her a true ambassador of cycling, both in Lithuania and internationally.
Katažina is an athlete who has been able to reinvent and grow during her career, becoming one of the protagonists in the world of mountain biking, not only for its results, but also for the commitment she puts in growing the women’s movement in cycling.
