Torpado Impudent is proud to present its new hard tail: Ribot X 29” Boost. It is a completely renewed bicycle in comparison to the previous models and it is the result of a long work between Torpado Impudent’s R&D department and the professional athletes of Top Team Torpado Ursus and Torpado Südtirol. Materials and productive processes have been improved: these have guaranteed us a bike, which weighs just 895 gr. (Size M, raw). We also reached such result thanks to the improvement of the tubes sections, the use of the “flat mount” standard for rear break caliper and making a frame dedicated to the 1x drivetrain.
Due to the use of new materials and productive processes, Torpado Impudent has been working on the Ribot X behavior: its reactivity has been improved thanks to new shorter chain stays (425mm), which have been possible because of the adoption of 1x drivetrain. In the new Ribot X, the handling has been improved because of a new longer top tube and a new shorter stem; moreover, a better handling has been guaranteed by the shorter chain stays and an improved steering angle of 69,5°, a seat tube angle of 73,5° and a fork with a travel of 100mm.
Torpado Impudent has further improved the rear-end of the Ribot X: shape and specialised use of the carbon fibers in seat stays have been designed to reach an excellent vibrations absorption, without compromising the reactivity guaranteed by the new shorter rear-end.
On the Ribot X project, we have been focusing on the design: predisposition to the interior cable routing has been improved thanks to the use of ONE WAY X. Thus, an use of a interchangeable plate allows the cable to enter into the frame by an unique point; this makes the design finer and at the same time easier both assembly and maintenance.

REACTIVE GRIP SYSTEM
This new system guarantees incredible pedal reactivity thanks to the record chainstays 425mm length, which have been realized for of the use of the 1 x drivetrain. The specific disposition of carbon fibers in the seat stays, together to the new geometry, guarantee better transmission of the traction, mechanical grip and comfort.
FLAT MOUNT DISC BRAKE
It’s a new standard, which allow reducing needed material to match the caliper to the frame. This solution reduce the weight and the torque on the frame during the slow down. Anyway, through an adaptor, is possible using post mount calliper.
